The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a military hospital in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least dozens and wounding dozens more.
The organization said Wednesday through its accounts on social media sites that the attack was carried out by 5 members and “caused the death of several Taliban, including a key leader.”

Anatolia Agency spokesman said an explosion had occurred in front of the hospital, followed by a second explosion near the building, and gunfire was heard inside the hospital.
The Afghanistan channel ToloNews quoted a (anonymous) security source as saying that after two bombings, 5 armed men entered the hospital and started fighting against Taliban forces, ending with the deaths of all the attackers.
The death toll from the two attacks has so far risen to 22, with 50 people injured, according to local newspapers.
